Karel Vega
Karel Vega served as radio news managing editor at WKAR from 2020 to 2023. Previously, from July 2017 to April 2020, Karel was a local producer and host of All Things Considered. In 2018, he co-launched "Serving Up Science" with Sheril Kirshenbaum, a weekly segment on All Things Considered exploring food and its scientific history and impact. Karel joined WKAR and ComArtSci in January 2017, transitioning from his role as local host of All Things Considered at KHSU, Humboldt State University's NPR station in Arcata, California.
