Chetan Nayak – Utility-Scale Quantum Computers
Chetan Nayak is an American physicist and distinguished professor specializing in condensed matter physics and quantum computing. He is a Fellow of the American Physical Society. He is currently a Technical Fellow at Microsoft and a professor of physics at the University of California, Santa Barbara (UCSB). His research focuses on topological phases of matter, high-temperature superconductivity, the quantum Hall effect, and periodically-driven quantum systems. Nayak leads quantum hardware development at Microsoft.
