An early morning fire destroyed an unit of the Edgewood Villas apartments in South Lansing early Wednesday morning. A neighbor said no one was home or injured at the time.
The Lansing fire marshal has not yet released a cause of the fire.
It broke out before 5:00 a.m.
The apartment units are in the 1000 block of Edgewood Blvd. just north of I-96.
