Sun. Apr. 4 at noon on 90.5 FM & STREAMING | On Easter Sunday go Baroque with Jamie Paisley, as he spends most of this week's episode of The Fugue with Johann Sebastian Bach's Easter Oratorio from 1725. At first it was the smaller size of a cantata, but Bach enjoyed its impact so much that he expanded it into the current oratorio form, a bit like Zack Snyder recently was able to do with his Justice League film.

From Albinoni to Zelenka, music host Jamie Paisley is your guide through the best of the Baroque era. Jamie features everything from the masterworks of Bach, Vivaldi, and Handel to the rare gems of the period. The Fugue with Jamie Paisley airs Sundays at noon, and repeats Wednesday evenings at 7 p.m. on WKAR-FM and the 90.5 Classical webstream on wkar.org
