Storm finished, cleanup continues

UNDATED – Although a major winter storm has moved out of Michigan, cleanup continues. Check this page for weather and more information.

WEATHER:

TODAY...MOSTLY SUNNY. AREAS OF BLOWING SNOW. HIGHS AROUND 20. SOUTHWEST WINDS 5 TO 15 MPH INCREASING TO 15 TO 20 MPH.

TONIGHT...MOSTLY CLEAR. LOWS ZERO TO 5 ABOVE. SOUTHWEST WINDS 10 TO 15 MPH WITH GUSTS TO AROUND 25 MPH. WIND CHILL READINGS AS LOW AS MINUS 12.

FRIDAY...MOSTLY SUNNY. HIGHS IN THE LOWER 20S. SOUTHWEST WINDS AROUND 15 MPH WITH GUSTS TO AROUND 25 MPH. WIND CHILL READINGS AS LOW AS MINUS 10 UNTIL MIDDAY.

NOTICES:

The City of Lansing requests that there be no parking on any residential street until Friday, February 4, 2011. This includes daylight hours. Please help us to make the streets safer for all.

The Active Living for Adults (ALFA) and the Before & After School Program in the East Lansing Public Schools will be closed on Thursday, Feb. 3. East Lansing will collect both Wednesday's and Thursday's trash and recycling today.

The MSU Community Music School will open at NOON today. All morning classes are cancelled. Activities will run as scheduled beginning at noon.

CATA is still operating with some detours because of the snow. Buses will be running on the MSU campus today. Check CATA.ORG for the latest information on routes.

MSU and LCC resume normal operations today.
