Location: Tony Benavides City Council Chamber, 10th Floor, Lansing City Hall
Join the City of Lansing for the 46th annual observance honoring the life and legacy of Reverend Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. This year’s theme, Mission Possible II: Building Community, Uniting a Nation the Nonviolent Way, is more than a banner—it’s a blueprint for action. It reflects our commitment to building the Beloved Community: a world where injustice ends, violence is replaced by compassion, and love becomes the prevailing force.
This one-hour gathering will bring our community together for reflection, inspiration, and a shared call to action.
All are invited to attend and take part in this meaningful moment of unity and purpose.
