The race is on for seats on the Lansing city council. The primary election is next Tuesday.

Next Tuesday, August 4th, is primary election day in Lansing, and it’s highlighted by the city council races. Carol Wood is running for another term as an at-large councilmember, Jody Washington hopes to stay in her seat representing the first ward, and A’Lynne Boles is running for re-election in the third ward. Vincent Delgado was appointed to an at-large seat earlier this year, but he isn’t running so he’ll be gone at the end of the year.
