Services offered by Mi-EC include resume preparation, job lead searches, interview practice and support upon employment to ensure continued success throughout the professional development period.

Two Michigan State University researchers are using their new website, Steps 4 Success, to help people in the Lansing area with disabilities or criminal records seek future employment.

In the fall of 2020, Stacy Hickox, an Associate Professor in the School of Human Resources and Labor Relations, and Dr. Connie Sung from the Department of Counseling, Educational Psychology and Special Education founded the Michigan Employment Clinic (Mi-EC).

The goal is not only to support those seeking employment but also to promote employers’ hiring and workplace practices to create more inclusive employment opportunities.

The website is free to use and provides support for both job seekers and employers in the capital region.

Services offered by Mi-EC include resume preparation, job lead searches, interview practice and support upon employment to ensure continued success throughout the professional development period.
