Enter the Traverse City Getaway Raffle to benefit Project Purple, a nonprofit dedicated to pancreatic cancer research and patient support.
Created in memory of Lou Ann Bogart and her lifelong love for Northern Michigan, this raffle offers a weekend getaway for two to Traverse City, valued at over $1,500. The winner (Sept. 11–13, 2026) will enjoy:
-Two nights in a loft at the historic Grand Traverse Commons
-A vineyard and estate tour with wine tasting at Bowers Harbor
-A scenic cruise on Grand Traverse Bay with the Nauticat

Tickets are available September 2–October 18, 2025. Winner announced October 20, 2025.

Join the Justice League of Greater Lansing Michigan for their 4th anniversary celebration and fundraiser. The evening will include a keynote presentation by Dr. Nakia Parker followed by a conversation with Sophia Saliby, WKAR Host and Producer of All Things Considered. Guests will learn more about the organization's achievements and journey in their work towards reparations. Dinner will be provided by Gregory's Soul Food and dessert by Strange Matter Co.
