MSU men's basketball coach Tom Izzo holds his Monday press conference at the Breslin Center and recaps the win over Ohio State and addresses how his team plans to adjust to the Nick Ward injury.
Ward was diagnosed with a hairline fracture in his left hand. That injury was sustained toward the end of the first half of the Spartans 62-44 win over Ohio State on Sunday. There is no timetable for his return and his injury will be re-evaluated on a weekly basis. MSU is hoping Ward returns before the end of the season. Ward was averaging 15.1 points and 6.7 rebounds per game.
The Spartans will play host to Rutgers on Wednesday evening.
