Pretty Yende’s journey from South Africa to opera stardom

Growing up in South Africa, internationally celebrated opera singer Pretty Yende hadn’t even heard of opera until she was almost out of high school. Now, she’s hailed as one of her generation’s most accomplished coloratura sopranos. Ciaran Jenkins of Independent Television News reports.
