WKAR will launch a new, free 24/7 children's channel on January 16.
The new channel will make it easy for mid-Michigan children to watch their favorite series during primetime and other after-school hours when viewing among families is high. The WKAR PBS Kids channel is part of the station's latest initiative to support early learning in the community.
WKAR PBS Kids will broadcast on new digital channel 23.4 and will be carried on participating cable systems (check with your provider for channel details). Viewers will also be able to watch the 24/7 service through wkar.org and pbskids.org and on the PBS Kids Video App on mobile and many TV streaming devices.
