'CAT' by artist Laura Lind is located at Washington Square and Ottawa in downtown Lansing as part of Pop Up Art: Special Edition.

We stroll down the Lansing street where newspaper kiosks have been turned into an art exhibition. Learn more about the Lansing Art Gallery's Pop Up Art: Special Edition installation.

The Lansing Art Gallery has been located in Downtown Lansing for decades. However, this summer, the Art will be spilling out into the streets along Washington Square.

This installation is part of the Lansing Art Gallery’s project called Pop Up Art: Special Edition.

Current State’s Jamie Paisley went downtown to learn more about a very newsworthy method being used to showcase the 12 Michigan artists currently on display. He speaks with Barb Whitney, Executive Director of the Lansing Art Gallery, who loves the responsibility that comes to promoting Michigan-based artists.
