The Happendance School in Lansing has a newly named director. We meet Heather Vaughan-Southard to find out what challenges she anticipates tackling with the mid-Michigan dance troupe in the years ahead.

Lansing’s Happendance School has new leadership. Heather Vaughn-Southard’s first day in her new role was last week.

In her career, she has performed as a dancer and has been an educator, choreographer and written about dance.
