Ann Arbor Concert Band presents Old, New, Borrowed and Blue!

The Ann Arbor Concert Band presents “Old, New, Borrowed and Blue!” The concert features “Blue Towers” by Irving Fine, “Symphonic Metamorphosis” by Paul Hindemith, “Tuebor Suite” by Michigan composer Andrew David Perkins, “Northern Pines” by John Philip Sousa, “Selections from Danserye” by Tielman Susato and “Blue Shades” by Frank Ticheli.

We are excited to welcome to our podium Jason Fettig, Director of University Bands, Professor of Conducting, UM-SMTD; John Pasquale, Donald R. Shepherd Professor of Conducting and Director of the University of Michigan Marching and Athletic Bands; J. Nick Smith, Associate Director of Bands & Director of Athletic Bands, EMU- SMD; composer Andrew David Perkins, Apollo Studios Music Publishing and Matt Kazmierski, Asst. Conductor of the A2CB. David Leach, Artistic Director / Conductor is the driving force of this distinguished ensemble.
