When President-elect Donald Trump nominated Betsy DeVos for Secretary of Education, it sparked an array of different reactions. Some applaud the nomination And praise her for her years of philanthropy, activism, and hard work fighting for parents and children in Michigan to have school choice. Many prominent figures in the field say her approach to education is flawed and could do real damage if enacted at a national level.
